Why does Carl the Catfish wear the Santa Hat?

What started off as a father writing a simple Christmas tale about a doodle turned into a ten-year quest to find the perfect—sorry, purr-fect—holiday story—an epic journey through the outer limits of the holiday genre where evil Robot Carolers, interdimensional Santas, and Reindeer Teamsters lurk.
Until Carl got fed up and left the manuscript—escaping to a place outside space and time where all holiday ideas are born (and nearly destroying every Christmas story that ever was or ever will be in the process).
This is is the true story of what happens when you don’t trust your ideas.
It’ for every parent or creative struggling with perfectionism.
